AAR and Woodward sign multi-year parts distribution deal

April 22, 2026 8:03 AM

AAR Corp. has signed a multi-year commercial distribution agreement with Woodward Inc. (NASDAQ: WWD) to distribute engine parts to commercial airlines.

Under the agreement, AAR will serve as the preferred distributor of Woodward consumable parts including fuel filters, gaskets, and seals for CFM LEAP, GEnx, and CF34 engines. The parts will be distributed directly to commercial airlines through AAR's global warehouse network.

The agreement expands an existing relationship between the companies. AAR previously distributed Woodward parts to the defense market, and this deal extends that arrangement to commercial aviation.

"Customers depend on commercial engine consumables to keep these engines running reliably, and getting those parts quickly is critical," said Jacob Roush, Vice President Sales and Marketing for Woodward. "AAR's global reach and proven distribution track record make them the right partner to put Woodward parts where airlines need them, when they need them."

Frank Landrio, AAR's Senior Vice President of Distribution, said the agreement recognizes AAR's success in distributing Woodward parts to the defense market and represents confidence in the company's ability to deliver similar results in commercial aviation.

AAR is a provider of aviation services to commercial and government operators, with operations in over 20 countries. Woodward designs and manufactures aerospace and industrial controls from its headquarters in Fort Collins, Colorado.

The information was provided in a company press release.
