Regal Rexnord names Aamir Paul as new CEO starting July 1

April 22, 2026 7:04 AM

Regal Rexnord Corporation (NYSE: RRX) announced that its board of directors has appointed Aamir Paul as chief executive officer, effective no later than July 1, 2026. Paul will also join the board of directors upon starting his role.

Paul, 48, currently serves as president of North America for Schneider Electric SE, where he has overseen a business generating over $17 billion in revenue in 2025 with more than 43,000 employees and 35 manufacturing facilities. He joined Schneider Electric in 2013 and has held multiple senior leadership roles across sales and operations.

The appointment concludes a comprehensive search initiated by the board on October 29, 2025, to identify a successor to current CEO Louis Pinkham. Pinkham will remain in his role until Paul's start date and will resign from the board when he steps down as CEO.

Prior to Schneider Electric, Paul spent over 13 years at Dell Technologies in sales roles, ultimately serving as senior vice president of Global Server Solutions Sales. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Northwestern University and has completed advanced management studies at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and INSEAD.

"After a comprehensive search, the Board concluded that Aamir is an exceptional leader who is well-prepared to guide Regal Rexnord through its next phase of growth," said Rakesh Sachdev, non-executive chairman of Regal Rexnord's board.

Paul serves on the board of USG Corporation and holds positions with several industry organizations including the National Association of Manufacturers and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association.

The company plans to provide additional commentary on the CEO transition during its first quarter earnings conference call scheduled for May 7, 2026.
