ParkerVision oral arguments scheduled for June 1 in Qualcomm appeal
ParkerVision Inc. (OTCQB: PRKR) announced that the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has scheduled oral arguments for June 1, 2026 in the company's expedited appeal of a district court decision in ParkerVision v. Qualcomm.
The wireless radio-frequency technology company also reported delays in two active cases in the Western District of Texas involving MediaTek and Realtek. The MediaTek case, originally scheduled for trial beginning March 20, 2026, was postponed pending court-requested modifications to expert reports and related briefings.
The Realtek trial, scheduled to commence April 27, 2026, was also postponed due to the same expert report modifications required in the MediaTek case.
ParkerVision has filed proposed scheduling motions with the district court indicating resubmission of expert reports by May 2026, close of expert discovery by June 2026, and completion of final pre-trial briefings by July 2026. New trial dates for both MediaTek and Realtek cases remain pending.
"We are pleased that the Federal Circuit has moved expeditiously in scheduling oral arguments in this long-standing case, and we are hopeful that the Federal Circuit's rulings following oral arguments will likewise be expedited," said Jeffrey Parker, CEO of ParkerVision.
The information is based on a press release statement from the Jacksonville, Florida-based company, which holds an extensive patent portfolio and pursues licensing and enforcement strategies to protect its intellectual property rights.
