Redwire partners with Washington Commanders for military appreciation
Redwire Corporation (NYSE: RDW) announced a multi-year marketing partnership with the Washington Commanders focused on supporting U.S. service members, veterans and their families, according to a company statement.
The space and defense technology company will serve as a drone technology partner of the NFL team. The partnership includes military appreciation initiatives, community events and recognition programs for service members and their families.
During the upcoming season, Redwire will conduct a marketing campaign featuring in-stadium branding and digital signage at Northwest Stadium, along with game day experiences and community initiatives.
"Redwire's partnership with the Washington Commanders reflects our shared ethos and culture centered on cultivating appreciation for U.S. military personnel," said Peter Cannito, Chairman and CEO of Redwire and United States Marine Corps veteran.
Mark Clouse, President of the Washington Commanders, said supporting service members, veterans and their families represents a core priority for the organization.
Jacksonville, Florida-based Redwire develops space and defense technology solutions and employs approximately 1,400 people across North America and Europe. The Washington Commanders, owned by a group led by Managing Partner Josh Harris, were founded in 1932 and play home games at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland.
