Infosys (NYSE: INFY) announced a strategic collaboration with OpenAI to help enterprises implement AI solutions using OpenAI's Codex and other AI models, according to a company statement.

The partnership combines OpenAI's technology with Infosys Topaz Fabric, Infosys's agentic services suite, to support customers moving from AI experimentation to deployment across business operations.

The collaboration focuses on software engineering, legacy modernization, DevOps automation, and e-commerce applications. The companies plan to integrate Codex with workflow automation and prebuilt agents alongside Infosys's enterprise governance systems.

"Codex is becoming a powerful workspace for managing agents across software development and business workflows," said Denise Dresser, Chief Revenue Officer at OpenAI. "We're working with leading partners like Infosys to help more organizations move from early usage to repeatable deployment."

Salil Parekh, Chief Executive Officer of Infosys, stated that the collaboration "establishes an operating model to unlock AI value at scale" and enables clients to "move decisively from pilots to performance."

Infosys operates in 63 countries and employs over 325,000 people. The company provides business consulting and technology services with a focus on AI implementation and enterprise transformation.

The partnership targets areas including legacy code modernization, code review automation, vulnerability detection, and application development using OpenAI's AI models integrated with Infosys's delivery infrastructure.
