F&M Bank names Shalini Singhal as chief information and technology officer
F&M Bank announced the appointment of Shalini Singhal to Chief Information and Technology Officer, expanding her role from Chief Information Officer. Singhal has worked at the Archbold, Ohio-based bank for nearly six years.
F&M Bank is owned by Farmers & Merchants Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: FMAO). The bank stated that Singhal's promotion reflects her leadership in advancing enterprise technology and innovation initiatives.
During her tenure at F&M, Singhal has led core IT functions including infrastructure, support, security, and internal banking systems. She has been responsible for building the bank's IT team and developing its technology foundation.
"Shalini's appointment reflects her strong leadership, and the critical role technology plays in F&M's long-term strategy," said Lars Eller, President and CEO of F&M Bank. "Over the past six years, she has helped F&M build a resilient and secure technology platform."
In her new role as CITO, Singhal will collaborate across the enterprise to guide F&M's technology approach, focusing on aligning technology with business growth, advancing digital initiatives, and strengthening cybersecurity.
F&M Bank operates as a community bank serving customers since 1897. The bank provides commercial banking, retail banking and other financial services across locations in Ohio, Northeast Indiana, and Michigan, according to the company statement.
