Pakistan urges US and Iran to extend two-week ceasefire
Investing.com -- Pakistan has called on the United States and Iran to extend their two-week ceasefire, the country's foreign ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Pakistan, Natalie A. Baker, and emphasized the importance of continued engagement between Washington and Tehran, according to the ministry statement.
During the meeting, Dar stressed that Pakistan urged both nations to consider extending the ceasefire beyond its current two-week period.
