EZGO receives ownership certificate for Changzhou manufacturing facility
EZGO Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: EZGO) announced that its subsidiary Jiangsu EZGO New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. received a real estate ownership certificate from Changzhou municipal authorities for its manufacturing facility in Jiangsu Province.
The certificate confirms the facility has been constructed in compliance with regulatory requirements and is cleared for operational use. The complex covers 19,665 square meters of site area and 36,547.56 square meters of building area, consisting of seven reinforced-concrete buildings including five production buildings and two support buildings.
The facility is designed to support annual production of 100,000 intelligent electric two-wheeled vehicles, 5,000 intelligent unmanned service patrol vehicles, and 0.5 GWh of graphene-based lightweight power lithium batteries. The underlying state-owned land use right carries a 50-year tenure.
EZGO will proceed with equipment installation and production line commissioning, targeting commercial operations to begin in 2026. The company developed and constructed the facility entirely in-house.
"Receiving the real estate ownership certificate is the milestone — it confirms that the facility we designed and built from the ground up has cleared every regulatory checkpoint and is legally ours to operate for the next 50 years," said Jianhui Ye, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
EZGO operates as a short-distance transportation solutions provider in China, focusing on electric mobility products, intelligent robots and related accessories through an Internet of Things platform.
