SurgePays develops AI platform to boost revenue per customer

April 21, 2026 8:31 AM

SurgePays Inc. (NASDAQ: SURG) announced it is developing an artificial intelligence decisioning platform designed to increase revenue per user across its subprime consumer base. The Bartlett, Tennessee-based wireless and fintech company said the system will expand individual customer interactions into multiple product opportunities.

The platform evaluates customer eligibility, predicts conversion probability, and ranks opportunities in real time across wireless, financial services, healthcare savings, and other essential services. Rather than presenting a single product outcome, the system presents multiple qualified opportunities within a single customer session.

"Today, our consumer intake platform, ProgramBenefits.com, functions as an eligibility funnel. Our objective is to turn that into a real time monetization engine," said Brian Cox, chief executive officer of SurgePays. "When a user submits their information, that is the moment of highest intent, and we believe it should be expanded into multiple opportunities, not just one."

The system builds on SurgePays' existing ProgramBenefits.com platform and retail network, which capture consumer data and engagement. The company said the platform will capture user behavior and outcomes to improve decisioning accuracy over time, supporting development of a proprietary dataset and optimized conversion models.

Initial development focuses on integrating the decisioning engine into the company's existing customer relationship management and point-of-sale infrastructure. Phase one priorities include expanding the product set by integrating additional financial and service-based offerings into existing wireless and benefits channels.

SurgePays operates a wireless and fintech technology platform focused on subprime and underserved consumers through its wireless brands and point-of-sale platform in retail locations nationwide.
