Allarity presents cancer drug data at AACR conference
Allarity Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: ALLR) presented two posters at the American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting 2026, held April 17-22 in San Diego, according to a company statement.
The first poster examined the company's Drug Response Predictor (DRP) companion diagnostic in a phase 2 trial of advanced, recurrent ovarian cancer patients treated with stenoparib. The data showed that patients with the highest stenoparib DRP scores were associated with enhanced overall survival when treated with the drug.
The second poster presented preclinical findings on stenoparib's mechanism of action in colorectal cancer. The research demonstrated that stenoparib modulates the WNT/β-catenin signaling pathway and inhibits growth of colorectal cancer cell lines at clinically relevant concentrations.
Stenoparib is an oral dual-targeted inhibitor of PARP1/2 and tankyrase 1/2 that the company is developing for cancer treatment. Allarity has two ongoing phase 2 trials for stenoparib in ovarian cancer patients and began enrolling patients in early 2026 for a separate phase 2 trial evaluating stenoparib combined with temozolomide for relapsed small cell lung cancer.
The company's DRP platform uses gene expression signatures from patient cancers to identify patients who may benefit from specific drugs. The technology builds on comparisons of sensitive versus resistant human cancer cell lines combined with clinical tumor biology data.
Both posters are available in the scientific publications section of Allarity's website, the company stated.
