XTEND secures $1.67 million Israeli defense contract
JFB Construction Holdings (NASDAQ: JFB) announced that XTEND, an artificial intelligence-powered robotics company, received a $1.67 million contract from the Israeli Ministry of Defense to supply drone systems and services. Delivery is expected during 2026.
The contract value equals approximately 5 million Israeli shekels. XTEND develops software systems and robotics for operational environments where human exposure carries risk.
"This agreement reflects the evolving needs of modern defense forces for systems that can be quickly deployed and used in operational environments," said Aviv Shapira, co-founder and CEO of XTEND.
XTEND operates across 30 countries with defense customers and anticipates additional contracts in 2026. The company's systems use its proprietary XOS operating system for human-guided autonomy and real-time mission execution in defense applications.
JFB Construction Holdings and XTEND entered a definitive agreement in February 2026 to combine in an all-stock transaction. The business combination includes strategic investments from Eric Trump, Unusual Machines, American Ventures, Protego Ventures, and Aliya Capital.
Following the transaction's closing, the combined company is expected to be renamed XTEND AI Robotics and trade on a U.S. national securities exchange under the ticker "XTND."
XTEND reports having deployed over 10,000 systems across more than 30 countries, with operations validated in five combat zones. The company maintains manufacturing facilities in the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Israel, and Latvia.
