Synthflow AI partners with 8x8 to integrate AI agents into contact centers
Synthflow AI announced a strategic partnership with 8x8 Inc. (NASDAQ: EGHT) to integrate AI agents into enterprise contact centers. The collaboration combines Synthflow's AI platform with 8x8's contact center services to automate customer conversations across phone and chat channels.
The integration allows businesses to deploy AI answering assistants without developer support and aims to reduce missed calls while lowering operational costs. The technology supports over 30 languages and includes features such as interruption handling and memory capabilities.
According to the companies, the global voice AI market is projected to reach $54 billion by 2033. Synthflow reports having processed over 65 million voice interactions for more than 100 enterprise customers, including Freshworks and Thryv.
"Our partnership with 8x8 validates the strength of our agentic AI capabilities," said Hakob Astabatsyan, CEO of Synthflow. The platform delivers what the company describes as natural conversations with low latency.
The partnership includes plans for 8x8 and its channel partners to resell Synthflow services directly, with the platform also becoming available to small and medium businesses through the 8x8 App Store.
"As consumers become increasingly comfortable engaging with AI agents, it's vital that our customers recognize this channel as a priority for seamless, effective customer engagement," said Victor Belfor, Global Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at 8x8.
8x8 provides business communications platforms that combine contact center, unified communications, and communications platform-as-a-service solutions. Synthflow operates as an enterprise AI agent platform focused on automating customer conversations.
