Intapp expands partnership with DCM Insights to integrate AI agents

April 20, 2026 8:46 AM

Intapp Inc. (NASDAQ: INTA) and DCM Insights announced an expansion of their partnership to integrate DCMi's Activator research into Intapp's Celeste AI platform for professional and financial services firms.

The collaboration builds on an existing research sponsorship and integration of DCMi's Activator research into Intapp DealCloud. The expanded partnership will incorporate Activator playbooks into Intapp Celeste, which surfaces relationship signals and identifies client engagement opportunities for partners at professional services firms.

DCMi's Activator programs are based on research into business development behaviors at professional services firms, which was published in Harvard Business Review. The company states that more than 100 professional and financial services firms use its programs.

Intapp Celeste is described as an agentic AI platform that delivers prioritized actions to partners. The integration with DCMi's research aims to provide what the companies call purpose-built workflows that present intelligence to partners.

"Partners don't resist new tools because the technology isn't good enough. They resist when the tools don't account for how they actually work," said John Hall, Chairman and CEO of Intapp.

Matt Dixon, Founding Partner of DCMi, stated that the challenge in business development is "a lack of time" rather than partner willingness. Dixon co-authored "The Activator Advantage: What Today's Rainmakers Do Differently," which will be published by Harvard Business Review Press in 2025.

DCM Insights was ranked number 112 in the 2025 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies. The Washington, DC-based firm provides business development programs for partners and associates in professional and financial services firms.

Intapp provides AI platform services for professional firms in regulated industries including accounting, consulting, investment banking, law, private capital, and real assets.
