Ondas receives $10 million initial order from Israeli border demining program

April 20, 2026 8:33 AM

Ondas Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) announced its subsidiary 4M Defense received a $10 million order as part of a $50 million demining program for Israel's eastern border. The contract represents the initial phase of a broader $1.7 billion Eastern Border Security Barrier initiative led by the Israeli Ministry of Defense.

The order expands Ondas' active demining operations, which now include two programs with approximately $80 million in aggregate value. The eastern border program involves large-scale land clearance to support new infrastructure development, including the removal of legacy minefields to enable construction of a security fence system.

4M Defense will execute the contract using its integrated intelligence platform, which combines autonomous ground robotics, aerial drone-based mapping, advanced sensing technologies, and AI-driven data processing for surveying, detection, and clearance of hazardous areas.

"We now have two active land clearing programs underway with 4M Defense with approximately $80 million in aggregate value," said Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas Inc. "These are multi-phase programs with defined expansion pathways, providing both near-term revenue visibility and the potential to grow into larger, long-duration engagements."

The eastern border program includes additional phases expected to be authorized based on milestone progress. Ondas previously announced a $30 million Israel-Syria border demining project in March, for which the company received a $15.8 million order. That contract involves demining 740 acres along the Israel-Syria border and includes potential for an additional $30 million in follow-on phases.

The information is based on a company press release statement.
