April 20, 2026 8:02 AM

Kornit Digital Ltd. (NASDAQ: KRNT) announced the launch of its Presto MAX PLUS roll-to-roll printing system, expanding digital textile manufacturing capabilities into footwear, automotive interiors, and technical textiles. The company unveiled the system at Texprocess 2026 in Frankfurt on April 21.

The new system builds on Kornit's existing Presto MAX technology and introduces DuraTech durability enhancement and Precise Overprint technology for complex substrates. The system enables water-free printing without pre- or post-washing requirements and supports digital application of functional inks for customizable performance characteristics.

"Digital production is entering a new phase of industrial adoption, expanding into high-performance categories that require durability, precision and consistency at scale," said Ronen Samuel, CEO of Kornit Digital. "Presto MAX PLUS extends the boundaries of what digital manufacturing can achieve, enabling brands and manufacturers to unlock new applications, operate with greater agility, and accelerate the shift toward a more sustainable production model."

The system features white ink printing on dyed fabrics, extended color options with Red/Green or Neon inks, and Kornit's XDi Technology for 3-D effects. Quality automation through QualiSet provides calibration and consistent results across production sites.

Existing Presto MAX customers will be able to upgrade to Presto MAX PLUS capabilities. The company stated the technology has been field-tested with footwear manufacturers.

Kornit Digital, headquartered in Israel with operations in the USA, Europe, and Asia Pacific, serves customers in more than 100 countries with digital fashion and textile production technologies.
