April 20, 2026 7:31 AM

BWX Technologies Inc. (NYSE: BWXT) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Precision Components Group LLC and its subsidiaries Precision Custom Components and DC Fabricators, according to a company statement.

The acquisition targets a privately held manufacturer of heavy-walled and heat-transfer components that generated approximately $125 million in revenue in 2025. PCG will join BWXT's Commercial Operations segment and continue operating at its current facilities.

The transaction adds more than 500,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity and a workforce of over 400 employees to BWXT. The facilities include capabilities for large-envelope machining, heavy weldments, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and ASME-certified component fabrication.

The deal is expected to close during the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

PCG operates through two main subsidiaries. Precision Custom Components, based in York, Pennsylvania, occupies approximately 400,000 square feet of manufacturing space and specializes in custom-fabricated heavy pressure vessels and reactors. DC Fabricators, located in Florence, New Jersey, operates from a 25-acre site with approximately 125,000 square feet of space and focuses on steam condensers and heat exchangers.

The acquired companies will continue supporting existing work including components and services for Electric Boat, Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc. and other U.S. Navy programs.

BWXT operates 17 manufacturing facilities globally and employs approximately 10,000 people, according to the company statement.
