Perfect Corp. (NYSE: PERF) announced that its independent special committee has appointed Kroll LLC as financial advisor and DLA Piper as international legal counsel to evaluate a preliminary non-binding proposal received March 18, 2026.

The special committee was formed by Perfect's board of directors to review the proposal. The board stated that neither the board nor the special committee has made any decision regarding the proposal.

Perfect Corp. develops artificial intelligence and augmented reality solutions for beauty, fashion, photo and video industries. The company operates YouCam consumer apps and provides enterprise solutions for beauty and fashion brands.

The company cautioned that no assurance exists that a definitive offer will be received, that any definitive agreement will be executed, or that any transaction will be approved or completed. Perfect Corp. said it does not plan to provide updates except as required by law.

The special committee continues its review and evaluation of the proposal, according to the company's statement.
