Alterity Therapeutics appoints Ann Cunningham to board of directors

Alterity Therapeutics (ASX: ATH, NASDAQ: ATHE) announced the appointment of Ann Cunningham to its board of directors as an independent non-executive director, effective April 17, 2026.



Cunningham brings more than 25 years of pharmaceutical and biotechnology experience, with expertise in commercial strategy and leadership across neurodegenerative disease and psychiatry. She has held senior roles at Eli Lilly and Company and Teva Pharmaceuticals, where she led marketing and sales teams responsible for neurodegenerative and psychiatry portfolios.



"We are delighted to welcome Ann to the Alterity Board at a pivotal stage in the Company's evolution as we prepare to advance ATH434 into Phase 3 development," said Julian Babarczy, Alterity's non-executive chairman.



Cunningham is the founder and chief executive officer of i³ Strategy Partners, a pharmaceutical consulting group focused on patient engagement strategies. She guided the commercial launch of Lilly's Cymbalta, leading the development and execution of the "Depression Hurts" consumer campaign, and served as senior director and global brand lead for Otsuka America's Rexulti. At Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, she led commercial development as vice president of neurodegenerative disease and psychiatry.



She currently serves on the board of directors of Vistagen Therapeutics and previously served as its chief commercial officer. Cunningham holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Yale University and an MBA from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
