Blink Charging Co. (NASDAQ: BLNK) announced it will provide two hours of free electric vehicle charging on Earth Day at a Comfort Suites location in Lake City, Florida. The promotion runs from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern Time on April 22 at 3690 W. US Hwy 90.

The company recently installed DC fast charging equipment at the hotel parking lot featuring ABB Terra chargers capable of delivering up to 180 kW of power. The chargers include two connector options to accommodate different vehicle types.

Blink is also offering a $5 charging credit to drivers who submit reviews of the charging site on PlugShare between April 22-29, according to the company's press release.

"We're excited to support our friends at Lake City Hotels and the EV charging infrastructure needs at the Comfort Suites location," said Mike Battaglia, Blink's president and CEO.

Nick Patel, the site owner, said the partnership brings reliable DC fast charging to guests and the local community. The charging station is located at the Comfort Suites Lake City property.

Blink Charging operates electric vehicle charging networks and provides charging equipment and services. The company has partnerships across various location types including hotels, parking facilities, workplaces, and retail locations.
