SEALSQ plans quantum technology stack launch in Q3 2026

April 16, 2026 11:46 AM

SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES) announced plans to launch its Quantum Vertical Stack during a company event scheduled for the third quarter of 2026. The technology integrates quantum computing components from silicon-level security to space-based infrastructure.

The system combines seven layers including silicon root of trust, post-quantum cryptography, quantum hardware, and photonic interconnects. SEALSQ states no other company currently offers comparable integration across quantum hardware, security, interconnects, sensing, and space-based services.

"At SEALSQ, we are not just preparing for the quantum era, we are engineering it vertically, securely, and at scale," said Carlos Moreira, CEO of SEALSQ.

The announcement follows several recent developments. SEALSQ's portfolio company EeroQ, working with Conductor Quantum and NVIDIA, demonstrated an autonomous quantum computing laboratory. The company also announced a collaboration with Quobly, a silicon spin qubit developer backed by STMicroelectronics.

In March 2026, SEALSQ and WISeSat.Space Corp. announced plans for a 100-satellite constellation called the Quantum Spatial Orbital Cloud. The first 15 satellites are funded with operations expected by 2027. The next satellite launch is scheduled for June 2026 aboard SpaceX.

SEALSQ expanded its SEALQuantum Fund to $200 million in March 2026, having deployed over $30 million across portfolio companies including EeroQ, Quobly, and others. The company completed a pilot phase with the Swiss Armed Forces' Space Command in April 2026.

The company's technology is currently deployed in more than 1.7 billion devices worldwide. SEALSQ is a subsidiary of WISeKey International Holding Ltd (NASDAQ: WKEY; SIX: WIHN).
