SEALSQ announces quantum technology stack launch for third quarter 2026
SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES) announced plans to launch its Quantum Vertical Stack during a company event in the third quarter of 2026. The technology integrates quantum hardware, post-quantum cryptography, and satellite infrastructure.
The stack includes seven integrated layers spanning from silicon-level security to orbital cloud services. Key components include quantum-resistant semiconductors, post-quantum cryptography aligned with NIST standards, and photonic interconnect technology through a pending acquisition of Miraex SA.
SEALSQ operates a $200 million quantum investment fund that has deployed over $30 million across portfolio companies including EeroQ and Quobly. The company has established partnerships for quantum processor development and satellite-based quantum services.
The company's Quantum Highway project connects quantum nodes across multiple countries including Spain, France, Switzerland, India, the United States and South Korea. Each node uses cryptographic binding to silicon-based security systems.
SEALSQ plans to deploy a 100-satellite constellation through its partnership with WISeSat.Space Corp. The first 15 satellites are funded with operations expected by 2027. A SpaceX launch is scheduled for June 2026.
The company completed a pilot project with the Swiss Armed Forces' Space Command in April, validating quantum-resilient space communications infrastructure. SEALSQ has established semiconductor personalization centers in Switzerland with expansion planned for Spain, India, the United States and South Korea.
Carlos Moreira, CEO of SEALSQ, stated the company aims to create an end-to-end quantum technology architecture spanning from hardware to space-based infrastructure. SEALSQ is a subsidiary of WISeKey International Holding Ltd (NASDAQ: WKEY; SIX: WIHN).
