Beyond Meat partners with Big Geyser to distribute beverage line

Beyond Meat Inc. (NASDAQ: BYND) announced a distribution agreement with Big Geyser to bring its Beyond Immerse functional beverage line to more than 26,000 outlets across the New York metro area.

The partnership marks the expansion of Beyond Immerse beyond direct-to-consumer sales into retail channels. Big Geyser distributes to grocery stores, drug stores, convenience stores, mass merchandisers, club stores, and foodservice locations across New York's five boroughs and surrounding counties including Westchester, Putnam, Nassau, and Suffolk.

Beyond Immerse contains 20 grams of plant-based protein derived from peas, 7 grams of fiber from tapioca, and 100 calories per serving. The sparkling beverage comes in three flavors: Peach Mango, Strawberry Lemonade, and Cherry Berry. Each drink includes electrolytes, antioxidant vitamin C, and is made with non-GMO ingredients without sugar alcohols, dairy, or whey protein.

Jerry Reda, president and COO of Big Geyser, said the company values that Beyond Immerse contains no whey protein and uses non-GMO ingredients, distinguishing it from other protein drinks in the market.

Big Geyser distributes beverages for brands including Celsius, Poppi, C-4, Bloom, Essentia Water, and Just Ice Tea. Beyond Meat will showcase the beverage lineup at Big Geyser's Spring/Summer Trade Show in Uniondale, New York.
