EagleNXT (NYSE: UAVS) announced the sale of nine eBee VISION Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance drone kits to the U.S. Army's National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California, according to a company press release.

The eBee VISION is a fixed-wing drone weighing 4.1 pounds with a 46.4-inch wingspan that can be set up by a single operator in under three minutes. The hand-launched system provides real-time video feed and is designed for intelligence and surveillance missions.

The National Training Center will use the drones to enhance training exercises and support opposing force capabilities. The systems will help simulate adversary reconnaissance and prepare units for environments where drones are present.

This follows a previous sale of two VISION units to the Joint Mission Readiness Center earlier this year. The systems delivered to the National Training Center will be among the first produced at EagleNXT's manufacturing facility in Allen, Texas.

The drones are designed to help training units develop skills in drone employment and countermeasures. The systems are included on the U.S. Department of Defense's Blue UAS list, indicating compliance with defense procurement requirements.
