Ryder opens 10,000-sq-ft truck rental facility in Huntsville
Ryder System Inc. (NYSE: R) has opened a 10,000-square-foot commercial truck rental and maintenance facility in Huntsville, Alabama, according to a company statement.
The facility, located at 28719 Old Highway 20 in Madison near Interstate 565, features four full drive-through maintenance bays, one half bay, and a 24/7 self-service fuel island. The location includes 160 parking spaces with trailer parking availability and operates from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Services at the new facility include commercial truck rental, full-service leasing, fueling, and on-site and mobile maintenance services. The location is equipped with RyderGyde technology and a self-service check-in kiosk for fleet management.

"Huntsville's strong infrastructure and accelerating activity across automotive, aerospace, and government operations make it a natural fit for expanding our service footprint."
The facility is positioned to serve automotive manufacturers, food distributors, and government operations in the North Alabama region. Huntsville is currently Alabama's largest city and serves as an economic center for automotive manufacturing, food distribution, aerospace, and government sectors.
The new location is expected to create employment opportunities for skilled technicians, rental agents, and customer service professionals as demand grows in the region.
Ryder operates as a logistics and transportation services provider throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico, managing approximately 240,000 commercial vehicles and operating nearly 800 maintenance locations.
