Guidewire launches AI assistant ProNavigator for insurance workflows
Guidewire (NYSE: GWRE) announced the launch of ProNavigator, an AI assistant embedded in its core applications InsuranceSuite and InsuranceNow. The tool is included in the company's latest software release, called Palisades.
ProNavigator provides role-specific guidance to underwriters, claims adjusters, billing specialists, and customer service representatives within their existing workflows. The system delivers information sourced from an insurer's own documents and includes citation tracking and audit trails.
The AI assistant operates within role-based access controls to restrict document access to authorized users. According to the company, the system is designed to scale expertise while maintaining governance and security standards for Property and Casualty insurers.
"ProNavigator gives insurance professionals exactly the right information, right when they need it," said Amy Mollin, Vice President of Product Management at Guidewire. "By embedding it directly into InsuranceSuite and InsuranceNow, we're enabling frontline teams to quickly access accurate answers and confidently make better decisions."
The Palisades release also includes enhanced financial tracking capabilities, improved electronic claim exchanges for the London Market, and new workers' compensation features. The update adds PricingCenter rating capabilities within PolicyCenter for personal and commercial insurance lines.
Additional features in Palisades include the Jutro Developer Assistant, which helps developers create digital experiences using AI tools. Some features are available only to Early Access customers initially.
Guidewire provides software platforms to over 570 insurance companies across 43 countries. The company is based in San Mateo, California.
