Investing.com -- General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) Land Systems secured a $44.4 million contract modification from the U.S. Department of War on Wednesday to upgrade technology and diagnostics for Stryker Double V-Hull A1 vehicles.

The Sterling Heights, Michigan-based division will provide maintenance and training module kits under the modification to contract W912CH-25-D-0025. The modification brings the total contract value to $63.96 million.

The five-year requirements contract covers squad leader display version 3 kits for the military vehicles. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with completion expected by Feb. 20, 2030.

Army Contracting Command at Detroit Arsenal, Michigan, is the contracting activity. The contract received one bid through an internet solicitation.

Separately, General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp. received a $37.6 million cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to contract N00024-20-C-2120 for Virginia-class submarine support. The Groton, Connecticut-based division will perform lead yard support and development studies.

The contract includes options that could increase the total modification value to $71.03 million. Work will be performed in McLeansville, North Carolina, with completion expected by April 2027.

Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, D.C., will obligate $23 million in fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award.
