Sun Life U.S. has renewed its sponsorship agreement with the Kansas City Royals for five years through the 2030 baseball season. The partnership, which began in 2017, continues the company's community programming including youth fitness and oral health initiatives.

The renewed agreement includes the launch of the "Every Single Smile" campaign, where Sun Life will donate $50 to TeamSmile for each single hit by the Royals during the regular season. TeamSmile is a national nonprofit that partners with sports teams to provide dental clinics for underserved children.

"We are pleased to renew our partnership with the Royals and find new ways to make a positive impact in Kansas City," said David Healy, president of Sun Life U.S. The company maintains a large office in Kansas City.

Sun Life and the Royals will collaborate with TeamSmile to host dental clinics for local children from underserved communities. The companies will also conduct an additional TeamSmile clinic this fall to increase access to oral healthcare.

Alex Schulte, vice president of Corporate Partnerships for the Kansas City Royals, said the partnership aligns with the team's values regarding community health and well-being.

Since 2017, Sun Life and The Kansas City Royals Foundation have operated annual health clinics for local youth and the #StrikeoutDiabetes fundraising campaign supporting health programs at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City.

Sun Life Financial Inc. trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange, New York Stock Exchange and Philippine Stock Exchange under ticker symbol SLF (TSX: SLF, NYSE: SLF). The company reported total assets under management of C$1.60 trillion as of December 31, 2025.
