Spectrum TV app now available on Google TV and Android devices
Charter Communications (NASDAQ: CHTR) announced its Spectrum TV app is now available on Google TV and other Android TV OS devices. The expansion allows Spectrum customers to stream live television on devices running Android 10 for TV or later.
The app launch includes compatibility with televisions manufactured by Hisense, Philips, Sony and TCL. Customers can download the app and log in without credentials while connected to their home network.

"Launching the Spectrum TV App on Google TV and other Android TV OS devices expands how customers can enjoy Spectrum TV," said Elena Ritchie, Senior Vice President of Video at Spectrum. "It's another step in giving customers more choice and flexibility in how and where they watch."
The app is currently available across multiple platforms including Amazon Fire TV devices, Apple TV, LG smart TVs, Roku, Samsung smart TVs, VIZIO smart TVs, Xbox and Xumo TV. Mobile compatibility extends to Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, plus Amazon Fire Tablets.
