EnWave signs exclusive licensing deal with Egyptian food processor

April 15, 2026 9:01 AM

EnWave Corporation (TSX-V: ENW) announced it has entered into an exclusive, royalty-bearing commercial license agreement with The Dry Hub, an Egyptian food processing company that produces dried fruits, vegetables, and herb products.

Under the agreement, The Dry Hub will acquire a 10kW REV™ machine to begin commercial production at its facility in Egypt. The license grants The Dry Hub exclusive rights to use EnWave's patented REV™ technology for drying select fruits, vegetables, and herb products within Egypt.

The Dry Hub will pay royalties consistent with other existing licenses granted by EnWave. The company must purchase additional REV™ equipment within 18 months of commissioning the initial 10kW machine and meet minimum royalty requirements to maintain exclusive rights.

The Dry Hub specializes in premium dried food products for retail and industrial applications, serving both business-to-consumer and business-to-business markets in Egypt and internationally. The initial 10kW REV™ unit represents the first phase of the company's planned capacity expansion.

"This agreement marks a key milestone in our strategy to build a scalable, technology-driven drying platform in Egypt and the wider region," said Amr El Menoufi, chairman and chief executive officer of The Dry Hub.

EnWave develops vacuum microwave dehydration technology and operates from its headquarters in Delta, British Columbia. The company has more than 50 partners across 24 countries and five continents using its licensed REV™ technology for food, pharmaceutical, and cannabis drying applications.

The information is based on a press release statement from EnWave Corporation.
