Gorilla Technology increases investment in Astrikos.AI
Gorilla Technology Group Inc. (NASDAQ: GRRR) announced an increased strategic investment in Astrikos.AI, a Bengaluru-based infrastructure intelligence company. The additional funding builds on Gorilla's initial investment in Astrikos announced in December 2025.
The investment aims to advance the integration of Astrikos' real-time infrastructure intelligence platform with Gorilla's AI infrastructure offerings, including video intelligence systems and data center solutions. Astrikos provides operational intelligence for critical infrastructure environments by integrating data from cooling, power, IT load, and physical systems.
As part of the expanded partnership, Gorilla has nominated Deborah Hudson, Senior Advisor to Gorilla's CEO and incoming Managing Partner of Gorilla Tech Capital, to serve as a Non-Executive Director on Astrikos' board, pending board approval.
The companies expect the partnership to accelerate commercial opportunities across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the United States, where demand for private AI infrastructure is growing.
"Our increased investment in Astrikos reflects exactly where the market is going and where Gorilla intends to win," said Jay Chandan, CEO of Gorilla Technology Group. "India's data centre industry is already sizeable and growing fast, with capacity expected to increase significantly over the next several years."
Chinmay Hegde, CEO of Astrikos.AI, stated that the investment provides "the ability to accelerate that vision and expand our reach across key markets, including the United States, India, and the broader Middle East."
Gorilla Technology provides AI-driven security intelligence, network intelligence, and IoT technology solutions globally. Astrikos specializes in real-time monitoring and optimization for critical infrastructure systems, with deployments including India's New Parliament complex and Middle East infrastructure projects.
