Bitdeer reports 480% increase in bitcoin production to 661 coins
Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ: BTDR) reported producing 661 bitcoins in March 2026, representing a 480% increase from the same period last year, according to its monthly operations update.
The Singapore-based company's self-mining hash rate reached approximately 70 exahashes per second (EH/s), up from 11.5 EH/s in March 2025. The company operates 225,000 self-owned mining rigs and maintains a total hash rate under management of 78.1 EH/s.
Bitdeer's AI cloud business generated approximately $43 million in annualized recurring revenue (ARR) as of March 31, marking a 105% increase from February. The company deployed 2,128 GPUs with a utilization rate of 94%, compared to 64% utilization in February.
The company officially launched its SEALMINER A4 series mining equipment in April 2026, achieving an efficiency of approximately 9.45 joules per terahash. Bitdeer operates mining facilities across multiple countries including the United States, Norway, Bhutan and Ethiopia.
The company maintains 3.0 gigawatts of global energy capacity across its operations. It continues negotiations with potential tenants for its colocation AI data center in Tydal, Norway, which has planned capacity of 225 megawatts across two phases.
Bitdeer's infrastructure includes 1,744 megawatts of online electrical capacity and an additional 1,259.5 megawatts in its development pipeline. The company expects to complete several facility conversions from cryptocurrency mining to AI cloud operations throughout 2026 and 2027.
