Ceragon secures $10 million in private network contracts
Ceragon Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ: CRNT) announced it has secured private network contracts totaling approximately $10 million across utilities, mining, and public sector markets. The company projects $7.4 million in near-term revenue visibility for 2026 from these deals.
The contracts span multiple sectors and geographies. In North America, Ceragon is deploying a comprehensive solution for a regional water utility that includes smart sensing surveillance systems, autonomous drones, and communications infrastructure with tower construction and microwave backhaul. The company is also installing a private LTE wireless network for a tribal community to provide broadband access in an underserved area.
For defense applications, Ceragon is delivering private 5G wireless solutions and network-as-a-service to an international military base. The company stated there is potential to replicate this solution at more than 20 additional bases following successful deployment.
In the Asia-Pacific region, Ceragon is providing a private network for a nationwide electricity transmission operator to support communications across high-voltage assets. In Latin America, the company secured a four-year contract to modernize communications infrastructure for a large-scale mining operation, replacing legacy systems with high-capacity microwave transport networks.
"Private networks continue to represent an important growth engine for Ceragon, and we are demonstrating our ability to develop end-to-end solutions to meet the unique needs of these customers," said Doron Arazi, Chief Executive Officer of Ceragon.
The company's private network solutions integrate partner-based private 5G/LTE technologies with Ceragon's microwave and millimeter wave transport systems. These contracts demonstrate the company's expansion beyond traditional backhaul services into comprehensive network solutions that include design, deployment, and ongoing support services.
