Stellantis ships 1.4 million vehicles in Q1, up 12% year-over-year
Stellantis N.V. (NYSE: STLA) reported estimated consolidated shipments of 1.4 million units for the first quarter ended March 31, representing a 12% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
The automaker said growth occurred across all regions, with North America and Enlarged Europe leading the gains. North America shipments increased by approximately 54,000 units, a 17% year-over-year rise, driven by shipments of the Ram 1500 HEMI V8, refreshed Jeep Grand Wagoneer, and the new Jeep Cherokee.
In Enlarged Europe, shipments rose by approximately 69,000 units, up 12% year-over-year. The company attributed passenger car volume growth to new launches, with Smart Car platform vehicles including the Citroën C3, C3 Aircross, Opel/Vauxhall Frontera, and Fiat Grande Panda increasing by approximately 48,000 units, or 85% year-over-year.
Leapmotor-branded vehicle shipments increased by 22,000 units to approximately 27,000 units, supported by the T03 model in the battery electric vehicle entry-price segment across Europe, particularly in Italy.
Middle East & Africa shipments increased by approximately 11,000 units, an 11% year-over-year gain, primarily driven by Turkey with an increase of approximately 12,000 units. The improvement reflected normalized inventory dynamics and commercial performance improvements in Turkey, mainly due to new Citroën and Opel Smart Cars.
South America shipments rose by approximately 8,000 units, a 4% year-over-year increase, driven by Brazil where shipments increased by approximately 17,000 units. This was partially offset by an 8,000-unit decline in Argentina due to industry conditions and pressure from new Chinese competitors.
The shipment figures are unaudited and may be subject to adjustment, according to the company's statement.
