Navan wins Opella contract for global travel and expense management

April 15, 2026 4:59 AM

Navan (NASDAQ: NAVN) announced that Opella has selected the company to manage its global travel and expense program. The partnership follows Opella's separation from Sanofi as the self-care company sought to modernize its travel booking and expense management systems.

Vincent Cotard, VP Global Head Real Estate and Workplace Experience at Opella, stated that Navan provides "an easy-to-use tool that removes the complexity from business travel and expense, improving our employee experience and giving us the real-time visibility required to effectively manage costs."

The implementation will include both Navan's travel booking platform and expense management system. Opella aims to achieve cost savings of up to 20% on annual travel spend, target 95% platform adoption rates, and reach a 96% traveler satisfaction score. The company expects to save approximately 15 minutes per booking through AI-assisted capabilities.

Zahir Abdelouhab, SVP for EMEA at Navan, said the company is addressing issues with Opella's existing inventory to help achieve adoption rates and savings targets.

Opella operates as a self-care company with over-the-counter and vitamins, minerals and supplements products. The company serves approximately 500 million consumers globally and employs 11,000 people across 13 manufacturing sites and four development centers.

According to the press release, Navan has recently added other enterprise clients in France, including Alcatel-Lucent, Lafarge, and Expleo.
