The Joint Corp. (NASDAQ: JYNT) announced the appointment of Michelle Reap as director of franchise development. Reap brings more than 20 years of franchise industry experience to the chiropractic care network.

Reap has held leadership positions at several franchise companies, including Yum! Brands, la Madeleine Bakery & Café, A&W Restaurants, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and most recently European Wax Center. Her experience covers new development, growth expansion, resales, renewals, closure mitigation and remodel initiatives.

The Joint Corp. operates more than 950 chiropractic clinics across 43 states through The Joint Chiropractic network. The company offers walk-in chiropractic care without insurance requirements and provides affordable membership plans.

Reap stated she will focus on connecting the brand with qualified partners to operate patient-focused clinics as the company continues its national expansion. She plans to work with the company's real estate, construction and operations teams in her new role.
