Amplitude names Gab Menachem as chief product officer

April 14, 2026 10:01 AM

Amplitude, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMPL) announced the appointment of Gab Menachem as chief product officer. Menachem will oversee the company's product management, design, and growth organizations while reporting to co-founder and CEO Spenser Skates.

Menachem founded Loom Systems, an AIOps company acquired by ServiceNow in 2020. He spent six years at ServiceNow scaling its IT Operations Management product line to over $1 billion in annual revenue, according to the company statement.

"Every company building a digital product today is asking the same question: are we building the right thing?" Skates said. "Gab has spent his career at the center of that problem, and he's the right person to lead the team."

Menachem described his vision for the role, stating that companies are moving beyond traditional software development. "The difference is that what people are building today isn't common software — it's not web pages and applications. They're building agents. So we're moving into the world of agent analytics," he said.

The appointment comes during Amplitude's AI Week, a company-wide initiative where employees across all functions build AI-powered tools. Amplitude provides analytics services to over 4,700 customers, including Atlassian, Burger King, NBCUniversal, and Square.
