Voyager Technologies (NYSE: VOYG) signed a memorandum of understanding with Obuda University in Budapest, Hungary, to expand its VISTA science park ecosystem for commercial space research and manufacturing.

The agreement grants Obuda University reserved research resources, tenant opportunities and a position within the VISTA ecosystem alongside Fortune 500 companies, startups and government agencies. The partnership covers research, education and technology development.

"This agreement reflects the global demand for in-space research and manufacturing capabilities," said Jeffrey Manber, special representative to the Chairman and CEO at Voyager Technologies. "By partnering with leading institutions like Obuda University, we are enabling an international pipeline for the commercial LEO economy."

VISTA is described as the first U.S. science park dedicated to in-space research, manufacturing and services, located on The Ohio State University campus. The facility provides access to the International Space Station and future commercial space platforms for tenants developing space-based technologies and services.

Obuda University operates as an engineering and business institution in Central Europe with activities in the space sector. The partnership brings the university's research capabilities into the VISTA framework.
