Nanox partners with Meir Medical Center for orthopedic imaging study

April 14, 2026 8:05 AM

Nanox Imaging Ltd. (NASDAQ: NNOX) announced a clinical collaboration with Meir Medical Center to study the diagnostic value of its Nanox.ARC system for orthopedic injuries in emergency departments.

The study will compare Nanox.ARC imaging with Meir Medical Center's existing diagnostic workflow, which typically includes conventional radiography or radiography followed by CT scans. The research aims to evaluate whether the Nanox.ARC system can provide more detailed anatomical information and support faster clinical decision-making for orthopedic injuries from accidents and high-impact events.

The Nanox.ARC is a multisource digital tomosynthesis system designed to produce 3D imaging at lower cost and reduced radiation dose compared to traditional CT. The system is intended for tomographic images of the human musculoskeletal system, pulmonary, intra-abdominal and paranasal sinus areas for adult patients.

"This collaboration with Meir Medical Center advances the ongoing real-world clinical validation of the Nanox.ARC," said Erez Meltzer, CEO and Acting Chairman of Nanox. "Partnerships with leading institutions like Meir, one of Israel's largest hospital networks, are essential to building the clinical evidence base that will support broader adoption of our technology."

Professor Nissim Ohana, Head of the Orthopedic Division at Meir Medical Center, said the collaboration will evaluate the Nanox.ARC in real-time emergency settings with potential to improve fracture detection.

The study will assess how incorporating Nanox.ARC at early triage stages may create a more efficient and lower-radiation diagnostic pathway. The research will be conducted under a structured protocol approved by Meir's Helsinki Committee.

Meir Medical Center is part of Clalit Health Services and serves approximately one million residents in Israel's Sharon area. The 801-bed facility manages over 60,000 annual admissions and 190,000 emergency visits.
