Evolv expands partnership with Crypto.com Arena

April 14, 2026 8:00 AM

Evolv Technologies Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: EVLV) announced a multi-year renewal and expansion of its agreement with Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The renewed contract extends the venue's use of Evolv Express weapons detection systems and adds Evolv eXpedite autonomous bag-screening technology.

Crypto.com Arena, owned and operated by AEG, initially deployed Evolv Express systems in 2024. The venue hosts more than 200 events annually and welcomes over four million guests, serving as home to the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Kings and Los Angeles Sparks.

Under the expanded agreement, Evolv eXpedite will be deployed at a designated arena entrance where high-clutter bags are common. The company will maintain its designation as the arena's "Official Fan Screening Partner."

"LA fans tend to arrive late and Evolv allows us to handle that last-minute wave of fans," said Ron Little, Vice President of Security at Crypto.com Arena. "Our use of Evolv Express since 2024 – and our addition of Evolv eXpedite now – is part of a commitment to get guests to their seats quickly, conveniently, and securely."

The partnership expands Evolv's presence in Southern California, which includes SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater, Dignity Health Sports Park, Hollywood Bowl, Honda Center and Pechanga Arena. The company now operates in five North American arenas that host both professional basketball and hockey teams.

Evolv's systems use sensor technology and artificial intelligence to detect concealed weapons while allowing visitors to walk through checkpoints at normal pace. The company states its technology has screened more than 4 billion people since 2019.
