Modine promotes Art Laszlo to lead new data centers segment

April 14, 2026 7:00 AM

Modine Manufacturing Co. (NYSE: MOD) promoted Art Laszlo to president of its newly created data centers segment, effective April 1. The thermal management technology company separated the data centers business from its climate solutions segment to create the standalone division.

Laszlo will lead the data centers segment while Eric McGinnis continues to oversee the remaining climate solutions operations until his planned retirement. Modine will begin reporting these as two separate segments with its first quarter fiscal 2027 results.

The company also maintains its performance technologies segment as a separate reporting unit until its planned spin-off later this year as part of a previously announced transaction with Gentherm.

Laszlo joined Modine in 2022 and has held various leadership roles within the company. Before joining Modine, he served as president of advanced flow solutions at IDEX, focusing on downstream oil and gas operations. His career includes leadership positions at General Electric, Brunswick Corporation, Mars Incorporated and General Motors.

"Art's proven leadership and deep focus on providing critical cooling solutions make him the ideal choice to lead this new segment," said Neil D. Brinker, Modine's president and chief executive officer.

Modine, headquartered in Racine, Wisconsin, develops heating, cooling and ventilation solutions through its climate solutions, data centers and performance technologies segments. The company operates in North America, South America, Europe and Asia with more than 11,000 employees worldwide.
