ImmuCell appoints two directors and reduces board to seven members

ImmuCell Corporation (NASDAQ: ICCC) announced the appointment of Dr. Gilles Guillemette and Dr. Anthony DiMarco to its board of directors, effective April 15, 2026. The animal health biologics company also said it will reduce its board to seven members, comprising six independent directors and the chief executive officer.



Dr. Guillemette brings more than 30 years of executive experience in animal health therapeutics, having held positions at Elanco, Bayer, Henry Schein, Chewy, and Trupanion. He currently serves as an operating partner at Archimed and earned his doctor of veterinary medicine in Nantes, France. He will chair the newly created Strategy and Technology Committee and serve on the Audit Committee.



Dr. DiMarco has four decades of scientific leadership experience in human and animal health biologics companies. He spent 21 years as vice president of research and development and global manufacturing at IDEXX, where he developed new products and implemented productivity improvements. Previously, he worked for 10 years in scientific roles at Abbott Laboratories. He will serve on the Compensation, Nominations, and Strategy & Technology committees.



The company will establish a Strategy and Technology Committee of the board of directors. Four current board members will retire effective April 15, 2026, including Bryan Gathagan, Michael Brigham, and Bobbi Brockmann. Timothy Fiori will retire after the 2026 annual meeting but will continue in his executive role at the company, along with Brockmann.



ImmuCell develops and markets products to improve calf health and productivity. Its primary product line, First Defense, provides antibodies against viral and bacterial causes of scours in neonatal calves. The company's annual stockholder meeting is scheduled for June 11, 2026.
