Navitas Semiconductor appoints Gregory Fischer to board of directors

Navitas Semiconductor (NASDAQ: NVTS) announced the appointment of Gregory M. Fischer as an independent director to its board, effective immediately. Fischer will serve as a Class III director standing for reelection in 2027 and will join the Compensation and Executive Steering committees.



Fischer brings over 40 years of semiconductor industry experience to the position. He previously served as senior vice president and general manager at Broadcom Inc. and held leadership roles at Conexant Systems Inc., Rockwell International Corporation, and Rockwell Collins Avionics Co. He currently serves as an independent director of Semtech Corporation.



Since December 2021, Fischer has worked as an independent advisor to Gerson Lehrman Group and AlphaSights Ltd. He also serves on the advisory board of Syntiant Corp. Fischer holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Iowa.

Navitas Semiconductor develops gallium nitride and silicon carbide power semiconductors for applications including AI data centers, energy infrastructure, and industrial electrification. The company holds over 300 patents issued or pending, according to the press release.
