Ameresco Inc. (NYSE: AMRC) announced a collaboration with Miami-Dade County to implement energy conservation measures at two county facilities under a Guaranteed Energy, Water, and Wastewater Performance Savings Contract.

The project involves installing rooftop solar photovoltaic systems and LED lighting retrofits at the Miami-Dade Children's Courthouse and the E.R. Graham Building. The upgrades are expected to reduce annual electrical expenditures, according to the company's statement.

"We're proud to partner with Ameresco on these critical energy infrastructure upgrades, which will help ensure our facilities remain reliable and efficient for the community," said Dr. Jason Grant, Senior Energy Resilience Program Manager of Miami-Dade County's Office of Real Estate and Development.

The initiative includes comprehensive interior and exterior LED lighting retrofits alongside the solar installations. Miami-Dade County aims to use the project to advance sustainability goals while maintaining critical services for residents.

The Framingham, Massachusetts-based energy infrastructure solutions provider has more than 1,500 employees and serves federal, state and local governments, utilities, educational and healthcare institutions, and commercial customers across North America and Europe. The company was founded in 2000.

Ameresco noted that this project was included in the company's previously reported awarded backlog as of December 31, 2025.
