ParaZero receives second DefendAir order from defense entity
ParaZero Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: PRZO) announced it received a follow-on purchase order from a defense entity for its DefendAir Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems solution, according to a company statement.
The order represents the second purchase from this defense entity following evaluation and training phases. The package includes DefendAir Personal Net Launchers, net pods, and a training program with live exercises and simulation modules.
DefendAir uses net-launching technology to intercept hostile drones without kinetic force. The system supports multiple configurations including handheld launchers for individual operators, stationary and vehicle-mounted launchers, and drone-integrated net pods.
The Kfar Saba, Israel-based company reported that DefendAir achieved 100% interception success in field trials. The system targets protection of troops, infrastructure, and urban environments from unmanned aerial threats.
ParaZero, founded in 2014, develops autonomous solutions for manned and unmanned aerial systems. The company's portfolio includes SafeAir parachute recovery systems, DefendAir counter-UAS platforms, and DropAir precision delivery systems.
