Almonty Industries relocates headquarters from Canada to Montana
Almonty Industries Inc. (NASDAQ: ALM) announced it has relocated its corporate headquarters from Toronto, Ontario to Dillon, Montana, according to a company statement.
The tungsten producer said the move positions the company closer to U.S. government agencies, defense contractors and industrial partners. Almonty operates tungsten mines that supply materials used in defense and technology applications.
The relocation follows several recent corporate developments, including a $90 million initial public offering on Nasdaq in July 2025, a $129 million follow-on financing in December 2025, and the acquisition of Montana's Gentung Tungsten Project. The company expects to restart production at the Gentung facility this year.
Almonty has established partnerships with American Defense International Inc. and participated in the Department of Defense-sponsored Critical Minerals Forum. The company has appointed former U.S. Army generals as directors.
"Relocating our headquarters to the United States is not merely symbolic," said Lewis Black, chairman, president and chief executive officer. "Our investors, customers, and strategic partners are here because they recognize the urgency of building a Western tungsten supply chain free from Chinese dependence."
The company operates its flagship Sangdong Mine in South Korea and has additional operations in Portugal and projects in Spain. Almonty also trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange, Australian Securities Exchange and Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
