Parsons Corporation (NYSE: PSN) has been selected to lead the design of the $409 million Roosevelt Bridge Replacement Project spanning Lake Texoma in Bryan and Marshall Counties, Oklahoma, according to a company statement.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation awarded the project to the Zachry Construction/Traylor Brothers Construction Joint Venture, with Parsons serving as the lead designer for the two-mile-long structure replacement.

The new 63-span bridge will replace the original Roosevelt Bridge built in 1945. Construction will proceed in two phases to maintain traffic flow during the project. The structure includes substructure elements extending approximately 150 feet below the lake surface.

Lake Texoma is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and ranks among the largest reservoirs in the United States. The replacement project received Oklahoma's largest federal grant in 2024, totaling $124 million, combined with additional state funding.

"We're proud to partner with ODOT and the Zachry/Traylor JV to modernize this critical crossing over Lake Texoma and strengthen a structure that communities rely on every day," said Mark Fialkowski, president of Infrastructure North America for Parsons.

The Roosevelt Bridge serves as a regional connector for residents, freight, and travelers. The replacement aims to ensure the crossing remains operational for decades to come.

Parsons reports having delivered more than 4,500 crossings globally and maintains over 80 years of experience in bridge and transportation infrastructure projects.
