CoreWeave signs multi-year deal with Anthropic for AI infrastructure
CoreWeave Inc. (NASDAQ: CRWV) announced a multi-year agreement with Anthropic to provide cloud infrastructure supporting the development and deployment of Anthropic's Claude AI models. The compute resources will begin coming online later this year.
Under the agreement, Anthropic will use CoreWeave's cloud platform to run production-scale workloads. The collaboration will initially focus on a phased infrastructure rollout with potential for expansion over time.
"AI is no longer just about infrastructure, it's about the platforms that turn models into real-world impact," said Michael Intrator, co-founder and CEO of CoreWeave. "We're excited to work with Anthropic at the center of where models are put to work and performance in production shows up."
CoreWeave stated that nine of the ten leading AI model providers now use its platform. The company positions itself as a specialized cloud provider for AI workloads, offering what it describes as industry-leading performance through an optimized technology stack.
Anthropic develops AI systems including Claude, a large language model. The company focuses on creating what it characterizes as reliable and interpretable AI systems.
The announcement comes as demand for AI infrastructure continues to grow across enterprises, startups, and developers. CoreWeave completed its public listing on Nasdaq in March 2025, according to the company.
The financial terms of the multi-year agreement were not disclosed in the announcement.
