Rocket Lab Corporation (NASDAQ: RKLB) announced it has signed a multi-launch contract with Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, Inc for three additional dedicated Electron rocket missions scheduled to launch from New Zealand starting in 2028.

The new agreement brings the total number of Electron missions contracted by iQPS to 15 launches. Seven missions have already been completed since 2023 with what the company describes as 100% mission success rate.

All three launches will deploy from Launch Complex 1 in New Zealand and will carry iQPS' QPS-SAR satellites using Rocket Lab's Motorized Lightband satellite separation system. This marks the second multi-launch order from iQPS announced within six months, according to the press release.

"Success in space requires a dependable launch partner," said Brian Rogers, Vice President of Global Launch Services at Rocket Lab. "Our expanded partnership with iQPS is built on our consistent execution across the many missions we've launched for them already."

Rocket Lab's next scheduled launch for iQPS is set for no earlier than May 2026. The company positions itself as iQPS' primary launch provider for the customer's Earth-imaging satellite constellation deployment.

The Long Beach, California-based company provides launch services and space systems for commercial, government and national security markets. Its Electron rocket serves the small satellite launch market, while the company is developing a larger Neutron launch vehicle for medium-lift missions.
