Perpetuals.com secures exclusive license for AI platform targeting fintech firms
Perpetuals.com Ltd (NASDAQ: PDC) announced it has secured an exclusive worldwide license for the Forgentiq.ai platform, designed to deploy artificial intelligence infrastructure within hedge funds and digital asset management firms.
The company entered into a services agreement with Younet AI to license the proprietary agentic AI research platform. The agreement remains subject to Board of Directors and stockholder approval.
The Forgentiq.ai platform operates on-premises within client facilities, allowing trading firms to maintain control over proprietary data while leveraging AI capabilities for quantitative research and market analysis. The system deploys autonomous AI agents specialized for specific research functions including cross-asset correlations, regulatory filing analysis, and portfolio risk modeling.
Perpetuals.com plans a phased deployment approach, beginning with internal validation using its own market microstructure datasets and perpetual futures protocol data. The company then intends to license the platform to external clients on a subscription basis.
"Every basis point of alpha is a competitive weapon — and we're not asking funds to hand that weapon to a third party," said Patrick Gruhn, Chief Executive Officer of Perpetuals.com. "Our model is simple: we deploy institutional-grade agentic AI directly inside the fund's infrastructure, we sharpen their edge, and we never touch their IP."
The global AI in fintech market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of up to 28% by 2035. The top 20 hedge funds managed over $1 trillion in assets under management in 2024.
Younet AI has deployed over 40,000 custom AI agents for enterprise clients across legal, software, and financial services sectors. The Forgentiq.ai platform includes retrieval-augmented generation pipelines and proprietary training algorithms validated through a feasibility study.
The platform is designed to meet SEC, CFTC, MiCA, and global regulatory compliance standards while operating entirely within client infrastructure without transmitting data to external servers.
