Chubb names Kevin Rampe global head of claims
Chubb Limited (NYSE: CB) announced that Kevin Rampe has been named Senior Vice President and Global Claims Officer, effective immediately. Rampe will retain his responsibilities as Head of North America Claims while taking on global claims management duties.
In his expanded role, Rampe will lead the company's claims organization globally and oversee all aspects of executive claims management, service and administration through Chubb's worldwide network of claims offices. He will report to Chairman and CEO Evan G. Greenberg and President and COO John Keogh.
"Kevin is an outstanding leader with a deep command of claims strategy, a proven ability to innovate, and an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for clients," Greenberg said.
Rampe joined Chubb in 2005 as Global Compliance Officer and later served as General Counsel of North America and Global Deputy General Counsel before becoming Head of North America Claims in 2021. Prior to joining Chubb, he served as President and Chairman of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation and held positions with the New York State Insurance Department and New York State government.
Chubb operates in 54 countries and territories, providing commercial and personal property and casualty insurance, personal accident and supplemental health insurance, reinsurance and life insurance. The company employs approximately 45,000 people worldwide.
